Well, I don't know what time my neighbor's party ended but finally got to sleep before 1 am due to sheer exhaustion. So where did I end up one Saturday evening?

I went to Club Arena to play Warcraft 3. Of course when I went there, all the computers were turned off. However, after 30 minutes into my game or so, people started coming in and I got to play a 3 vs. 3 match. My teammates had a newbie and a not-so newbie and I guess the same could be said for my opponents, except for Sean who's really good at it. We didn't win the game but I did manage to harass them with a lot of Steam Tanks. =)

Of course before all this happened, and since my common sense was knocked out by the music being played by our neighbors, I decided to call up Steph. It surprises me that no matter how many times I call her, I always get nervous. Of course it was a far from ideal conversation since I got hung up twice because the rain was interrupting her phone line.

I've finally recovered from my diarrhea. Actually had to go the bathroom three times early in the morning. Then, had a six hour nap and went to Katipunan to play Warcraft. After which, attended my duties as one of the few remaining Anime@Arki members.

Technically, I would be doing some productive right now, but the neighbors are having a party and they're playing this music that's driving me insane. I can't concentrate to read, write, or even watch TV. It makes me want to get out of the house. Which I'm going to do now.

I wish I could invite people to go out but everyone's watching football. Sports is not something I really got into. Moreover, I'd read blogs but people haven't been updating them. I'm like kender. Boredom drives me nuts, and that's bad for the rest.

Nothing to do but browse through blogs of certain people... some aren't updated (*nudges Benj*) while others are... not interesting enough. =) I'm worried about Charm, especially since her last blog entry was before her mom's surgery. Poor Charm...

On the lighter side of things, I did enjoy Arcina's blog. Especially the part when she had to go through all the Starbucks shops in the Greenhills area. >.<

Amidst all this, I'm suffering from diarrhea. Must be the raw egg I ate with my Sukiyaki. The pain, the pain...

...but nothing hurts more than the loneliness of my solitude. *sigh*

It's amazing what great motivation for writing boredom can become. When you have nothing else to do, you'd be surprised at what you possibly write. Like all this nonsense.

It never ceases to amaze me what kind of spam you can get in your inbox. I've received everything from viagra to breast enlargements with electric bras. I don't even know who sends me these stuff. I have a theory it's Yahoo's fault. Maybe Yahoogroups gave our email addies away or something. I mean it never happened when it was just egroups and I don't exactly give my emails away freely.

I knew that today was going to be a bad day but I didn't know just how much. I was waiting for the Inquisitor game at Neutral Grounds when I suddenly felt like farting. Apparently, more than air came out. Had to premature leave and rush home.

In other news, people are starting to think I'm pathetic. While roving around Robinsons (after roving around Glorietta), I saw lots of Ateneans there. It's amazing how much people can gather in one place when there's no classes. The only people more numerous than Ateneans at Robinsons Galleria were the Povedans in their yellowish-block uniforms. Anyway, after spooking Fort and Therese, I continued to walk until I reached the cinema. There, I saw Ana and Van, and Irish. They were extremely shocked to find out that I was alone in a mall. So they invited me to watch a movie with them. Of all the nice movies to watch, it really surprised me at the one they chose: Magkakapatid. I was expecting to watch Scooby Doo, or perhaps The Sum of All Fears. But no, I instead got to watch a cheesy film starring Sharon Cuneta, Christopher de Leon, Dingdong Dantes, and another famous Filipino actress.

Just got back from my dentist appointment. These braces are killing me. Sometimes, the procedures is quick and short, taking only 5 minutes with the minimum amount of pain. Of course, there have been lately the long hours of adjusting my braces and tightening the metal wires on my teeth. Then when I get home, the pain starts to kick in. Sometimes, it hurts too much that I feel sleepy because of it. Like right now.

Of course considering I slept at around 8:30 pm last night and woke up at 8 am today, going back to sleep is not something I prefer to do at the moment. I already lost half a day to sleeping. I don't plan to lose more waking hours than necessary.

Of course in my attempts to keep awake, I turned on the computer and started surfing. I'd usually start reading a book but I've experienced "reading burnout" the past week. I honestly haven't read a single book ever since Sunday! Then again, it's also good that I'm not reading since that usually keeps me away from writing.

Also, I've been looking lately at other people's blogs, specifically my ex-crush. She's a writer too currently taking up IT (hmmmm, another Benj in the making). Well, after reading Tin's blog last week and now Erin's, I'm starting to feel inadequate. Honestly speaking, my writing could have been better than what's on screen right now.

Oh yeah, guess what, I'm required to make a journal for my nonfiction class. I might need to start a new blog just for that subject.

I came home at around 8 pm last night, ate dinner, then slept... I did manage to wake up at 12:30 am but I was feeling sleepy at that time so I went back to sleep...

And here early in the morning, before I go to my dentist appointment, I find out a lot has happened.

It's really strange when Garrick, Benj, and I reply using your blogs when we should be using our emails... Yes, Noelle, that's weird but when you think about it, there's something creative about that... (hmmmm....).

In my tendeny to reply to Garr's predicaments, I found out where Richie gets those anime character tests (yes, I know it was a rhetorical question). When I saw the link, I wondered: "Is that the same Rin whom I had a crush during my fourth year high school?". A few clicks later, apparently it was. It's amazing what you learn every day...

I really hate it when Skycable scrambles up their channels in order to broadcast their commercials. They must be desperate on sponsors or anything. Of course all it does to me is drive me nuts. Maybe I should boycott all the ads Skycable is sponsoring...

The past two days has been... hectic. Let me start off with yesterday.

Had to rush to Photo-Me at 10 am since our Theology teacher wanted them submitted to his office before 5 pm and I got home at around 7:30 on Monday. It would have been quick if it weren't for the female parent and her child who had trouble posing for the camera. And there's also the father who was complaining to the guard and shopkeeper that they should open "earlier". It was 10 am and frequent shoppers should know that life begins at 11 am in Virramall and Shoppesville.

I literally ran back home and then went to Ateneo from there. Since my class was at 1:30 pm, I dropped by Blueskies to play Warcraft 3. Of course I couldn't continue my campaign since it was saved on another computer and someone playing Jedi Knight was occupying it. I did try to beat the computer's AI in a custom game but to no avail.

History was a bit shocking. "I will not cancel your lowest quiz... I will cancel your three highest quizzes." I understand the logic behind this but it doesn't make me any happier. Of course that's just the start. "My periodical exams are unannounced." That doesn't really bother me since I don't study but it sure freaked out a lot of people. "It's easy to get a B in my class but impossible to get an A. So far, I've only given one A." I'm not an over-achiever so it doesn't really matter to me. And he did give an anecdote of his final exam: "In the Jose Rizal film, what is the significance of the dog before Jose Rizal was shot?" It was an essay-type test and a lot of students failed. Why? Because the correct answer is "wala" or "none". And you probably know how much people like to dally when it comes to essay questions.

He also did give us a 20-point diagnostic test which a lot of students fail but is supposedly something all Filipinos should get. I got a 6. And he did give us an anecdote how one man survived a plane crash (the one dealing with Ramon Magsaysay, I think): he didn't fasten his seat belt. =)

Of course that was my one class for the day so went back to play some more Warcraft before catching up with Russ and hitching a ride with him. Then, I went to sleep.

Woke up at around 7 pm, watched TV, used the computer, eat, then sleep...

Arrived at school at 9:15 am today which hopefully gave me enough time to do research for my history assignment: find the headlines on the day you were born. That meant using the microforms in the library which I don't know how to use. And neither does anyone else I know. Oh well. Went there and had the assistant make a sermon on how a junior should know how to use the machine by now. Of course the guy inserted it in reverse...

Coincidentally, saw Steph there and apparently, we have the same teacher. We essentially found a way how to use the damned thing and then I had to run for class... You know I would have loved to stay there and chat with her but academics calls. And Steph's cuter now with her hair shorter. =)

Warcraft 3 followed my theology class and well, despite the computer's very challenging AI, me and Cyril managed to beat it on a 2 vs. 2 match... after two tries. Went back to the library afterwards to "finish" up looking on the microforms. Of course a lot of the microforms weren't on their boxes anymore and it was scattered across a shelf in random order. Had to look for the one in September 1982 and then waited for someone to finish. Coincidentally (again), I saw a classmate in my history class. Her name's Denise and I met her during my freshman year as she was my classmate in Physics before she opted to transfer. She's quite cute and the silent-type and I saw her looking for the microforms. It's a good thing I asked her since she couldn't find the one pertaining to her month. That's because I was holding it... her birthday's on September as well.

After that morning's experience with the microforms, I became an expert during that afternoon. I let Denise use it ahead of me since she didn't do her research yet and I had already done some earlier and was just giving it the final touches. Generous of me, considering we both had class in less than an hour. Of course it didn't help that when I got out of the library, it started to rain...

Fortunately, the rain had lessened to a drizzle and I was able to cross Bellarmine field to my classroom in Bellarmine. Our philosophy teacher dismissed us early and gave us a "free cut" on friday. Friday's faculty day. The early dismissal didn't really help since it took me an hour and a half before I found a ride home.

If there's anything you can be proud of about Filipinos, it's how good they are with computers. Dropped by Blueskies today just to find out that they already have a pirated copy of Warcraft 3, which isn't due to be released until July 3.

Of course I couldn't resist but when I came home, I find out that I have a video compatability problem. Guess I won't be playing Warcraft on my home computer.

School was surprisingly okay. Since it was the first day of classes, I didn't have much to expect. It also dawned on me that I'll only be having one class tomorrow. Which is a good thing.

In my twisted aspirations of being a stalker, I've always made it my goal to meet someone new or make a new friend at least once a week. I have a feeling I won't meet that criteria this school year.

I think I should write down my thoughts before I forget. Like I always do. Anyway, strangely, my other blog gets more attention than this one. I wonder why. It doesn't even get updated.

Second, after an entire summer of reading nothing but fantasy... I'm sick and tired of the fantasy genre. It's time to take a break. Maybe I'll get that Conan Doyle book that's in my bookshelf for the past two years.

Oh yeah, nearly died laughing when I read Garr's blog. Me? Exercising grammar, syntax, and all? Yeah right. I don't even know what those things are. If you really wanna know how and why I write, visit my other blog (which is strangely more popular than this one...damn it!). It's longer too. =)

As for Benj, writing isn't in his blood. He just took journalism for a degree. =) Benj loves engineering, but not more than he loves computers.

Last but not least, milk. For someone who doesn't have a sense of smell, I'm surprised someone finds milk repugnant. Maybe soya milk perhaps? Or yakult? Ulcer must be kicking in. I, on the other hand, can live for days without food.

Hmmm, school starts tomorrow. Better look for a carpool else I'll have to take an hour walk going home.
