If there's anything more annoying, it's how fickle may fate is. Let me start of with Valentines.

Nope, didn't have anyone special. I'm still single and still devoted to that one person who probably will never look at my way. I did manage to give chocolates to the girls in my economics class, my psychology class, and the two girls near me in my arnis class since I ran out of kisses (the chocolate) by then. I did manage to give some of Steph's block chocolates but as always, she refused my gift. Not that I'm surprised. She did gave me a smile, which is more than I could ever ask.

Valentine's wasn't good, nor was it bad either. I just mutter that it could be worse. Steph could have been angry at me.

I did renew my friendship with Athene yesterday when she sent me a text message and only numbers appeared on my phone instead of names. The annoying thing about people who change numbers is the fact that they don't notify everyone that they've changed numbers. Oh well. At least I got to call her up and talk.

Today was horrible in the fact that I lost the rubbery spherical thing attached to my 6250. It's gone and I couldn't find it. Oh well. At least it's still working. I'm also looking forward tomorrow wherein I'll be cutting ROTC, playing Franco's game, meeting Krizelle in Gloriette for an interview, and then going to Jobert's house for his brother's game and his siblings' birthday celebration.

Today gave me an idea of what story I should write for fiction class. It's going to be a satire set in the Ateneo. Like the rapid food poisoning in the cafeteria (PJ's the 2nd person who went to the infirmary after eating food from the siomai/lumpia vendor). Or the ad that says how lucky you are to be in Ateneo with the blue sky and trees everywhere... except that people are smoking in campus.

Oh yeah, I finally bought my nth copy of Sandman: The Dream Hunters because "incidents" keep happening to it. It's well worth it though. I even made a new friend, Aurora, today.

Mmmm, I really love the spicy tuna of Kitaro. I wish my friends could try it someday.

I went on a shopping splurge today. My eyes popped out when I saw several Dune books for P135.00 at Book Sale... and they were in mint condition!!! Heck, they were even in better condition that my own books at home. What? Think? Buy buy buy!!!

Along with the Dune books I also bought Starship Troopers. It's thinner than I thought... Tomorrow I'm off to buy that Draem Hunters book that something constantly happens to it (like nearly getting burned in a fire...)

I finally talked to Steph today. Yey! Somehow, that all makes up for my failed midterm exam in Economics. Too bad I missed seeing Bev today since I had class. Interestingly, she went along with Joanne. Damn. Oh well, there's always next time.

Danton finally gave comments on my story. Yes, I can finally edit it. Buwahahahahaha.

Let me tell you some anecdotes from the past few days:

One of my blockmates go up to the 2nd floor where we wait for our 7:30 am class to begin. She arrives breathing quite deeply and tells my other blockmate that she had to walk from the parking lot since the security guard did not allow her vehicle to come in. She exasperates that it was quite a walk and that she needs some air. She then takes out a cigarette.

There's this new guy in our regular mechameet (I haven't been attending for some months so he might not be new...) who was complaining that he left his "#2". Great, this guy's complaining about losing one of his girlfriends. For a two-timer, he deserves it. Then again, he quit while he was ahead since he never got caught.

I finally got the VCD that contains the images I had scanned. Too bad when I finally got home, my CD drive broke down.

Ateneo's restrooms are new and sqeaky clean. Strangely, the only time Xavier high school renovated their restrooms was when PAASCU had come knocking their door. Now, I see signs of PAASCU in the college. Hmmmm... why is it when PAASCU comes to accredit the schools, the first thing they change are the restrooms? Grrrr...
