Thoughts Before I Go to Sleep

I have lots of gifted and talented friends. When they go up on stage to receive an award or whenever I hear other people speak of them, I can proudly proclaim that I’m their friend.

Yet I can’t build my entire existence on the sole fact of being friends with this and that person. The question I often ask myself, when will I accomplish something that will make my friends feel the same way I feel about them?
